Leefield Station is a range of wines that celebrate the history of the iconic sheep and beef station located in the heart of the Waihopai Valley. Purchased in 2013 by Marisco Vineyards, the property inspired us to go back to the beginning with our winemaking approach.

Pale pink coralish color, expressive nose with fresh red fruits and yellow fruits (peach) and a citrus touch. The aromatic palate has a beautiful red fruits and citrus expression and ends on a supple and greedy note.

A smooth, refreshing white wine with aromas of peach and spice with ripe fruit flavours.

Tropical and herbaceous aromas with hints of passionfruit and citrus on the palate.

The palate has an appealing plump roundness with peachy flavours and textures. A bit of tightness in the mid palate with a finish which is a little crisp and saline as well as being nice and dry. Lighter, textured dry white wines are super versatile when it comes to food or indeed as a stand alone drink or two after a hard day doing life. Match with pan roasted crispy skin snapper fillet, pomme puree, beurre blanc.

Clear, bright appearance. Pale gold colour. Very aromatic! Nice, riper spectrum Pinot Gris character; baked pear, tropical fruits and vanillapod, also subtle ginger spice and white floral notes. Dry concentrated and intense to taste, lovely texture, quite a full-bodied expression of Pinot, featuring nice ripe flavours and fine balanced acidity. Serve lightly chilled as an accompaniment to delicate cheeses and cured meat.

Clear, bright pale gold with a shimmering green fleck. Super charged, classic Luna Sauvignon Blanc. Loads of Stonefruit, lemon and lime and delicate floral notes. A wine fresh and "cool" smelling with an energising almost electric feel, really makes the mouth-water - Palate totally delivers on the mouthwatering thing! Really delicious and vibrant flavours with a seamless, rich texture. Loads of juicy, punchy personality. Quite a mouthful. Excellent match with salad featuring a pungent goat cheese and nice, ripe tomato with Basil.

A classic Chardonnay from Gisborne, this wine has notes of ripe stone fruit and rockmelon with a subtle creamy texture. Pair with fresh local seafood, or a chicken dish, especially those with an element of creaminess.

This vibrant Pinot Gris from Marlborough is bursting with nashi pear, guava and tropical fruit notes. A great match with a grilled chicken salad or gourmet pizza

This fragrant Sauvignon Blanc is alive with elderflower, grapefruit, and passionfruit notes. A perfect match for seafood and a crisp, vibrant salad

Balance is the golden rule with the Chapoutier Pays d'Oc Rosé. The musts undergo very little racking, in order to develop the wine's volume, yet maintain its freshness. 100% pressed Rosé, its floral on the nose and clean on entry. Ideal for an aperitif, or accompanying a number of summer style dishes.
