Peregrine's organic Pinot Gris is dry in style showing lovely ripe fruit and a subtle texture from a small portion of barrel fermentation. The cooler climate of Central Otago allows Peregrine to maintain a refreshing acidity and great length on the palate.

The Jones family are original pioneers of Marlborough, with William Jones founding the Starborough homestead and sheep station in 1865. Four generations later the original Starborough homestead block in the Awatere valley continues to thrive and is now producing world class wine. This Pinot Gris is an elegant wine with a finely concentrated palate displaying aromatic white and yellow stonefruits lifted by exotic florals, rose-petal elements and complex nutty and flinty nuances. As Winemakers, Stoneleigh are able to capture the natural early ripening characteristics of the Rapaura sub-region appellation, harvesting the grapes early with a full flavour profile to make a range of wines that are 25% lower in alcohol. Pale straw in colour, this wine shows lifted nashi pear and gala apple characters, with background topical guava and pineapple notes. The palate is lively and crisp with intense nashi pear, apple strudel and spicy flavours, complemented by a well-balanced acid structure.
