The Crafters Union are a group of winemakers with the desire to create something a little unique. They're passionate about making the wines you drink even more memorable than the way they look.

On the nose, nashi pear and white blossom greet you with supporting notes of citrus and candied ginger. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and poised with bright flavours of pear and lychee. A full bodied luscious palate with a juicy acidity carries through the palate giving the wine great drinkability and pairing with a variety of spicier dishes.

Inspired by the winding road leading from Queenstown to Kingston along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and sourced from Rockburn's Central Otago vineyards, the Devil's Staircase Pinot Gris takes the willing down into the realm of decadence and Bacchanalian delights.

Light in colour, luscious pear with hints of honeysuckle. The vibrant palate is refreshing with a textured round finish.

The palate shows fresh, ripe, pear characters leading to fresh, citrus acidity and a long, lingering finish.

Bright and attractively fruited, our Pinot Gris continues to satisfy Gris lovers with its succulent lychee, pear and nectarine flavours. Off dry in style, this wine is fruit-expressive and fleshy, delivering youthful fruit intensity and a perfect partner in crime to enjoy with fresh fish or Asian cuisine.

With expressive floral, white peach and citrus aromas, this wine fills the palate with rock melon and grapefruit characters that compliments the full off-dry palate. Cloudy juice was fermented in both tank and old French oak barrels which adds a rich texture and lingering smooth finish.

The nose is bursting with perfumed pears, and subtle candied fruit. The palate backs this up with sweet pear/fig dominating the fruit flavours and soft texture. The wine has silky drinkability and great balance leaving a clean and crisp finish. Great on its own or with a wide range of cuisine. Pairs especially well with Asian dishes.
