Porter is the oldest commercially brewed style and London Porter was Emerson's first beer. Dark, dry and mellow with some hoppy characteristics, pours a deep brown colour with reddish tints.

The Orange Roughy's scientific name is Hoplostethus atlanticus. Which roughly translates as, hazy, hoppy pale ale with a tropical fruit aroma, citrus flavour, and malty backbone. In the past, the roughy has been subject to unsustainable practices - completely selling out. Thanks to the hard work of our brewers, numbers are now on the rise. Careful you don't exceed your quota, though.

This Hazy IPA was brewed by the women of Emerson's to celebrate International Women's Day. So it's no surprise it was made with passion. Two kinds of passion, in fact. Fresh passionfruit juice and Abstrax Skyfarer Passionfruit went into the brew with Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe hops. It's intensely tart, tangy and fruity. The kind of flavour you'll feel strongly about. Passionate, even.

Originally brewed for Wellington's Annual West Coast IPA Challenge, Lupulingus has earned its cult following. This formidable Imperial IPA pours a striking tangerine hue and delivers 40% more US hops than Hop Zombie, unleashing layers of ripe stonefruit, caramelised peach and apricot syrup over a fresh piney backbone. Its legendary hop intensity lingers long after each sip, finishing with a resinous bitterness that has made Lupulingus one of the brewery's most sought-after releases.

A refreshingly lively lager with hints of tropical, fruit like notes and a mild bitterness. DB Export 33 has an ABV of 4.6%. This full flavoured lager was launched in 2008 and named 'Best Low Carbohydrate Beer in New Zealand' in 2009 and 2010 at the NZ Beer Awards. It also became the first New Zealand low carb beer to win a Gold medal at the prestigious Monde Selection awards in Belgium in 2010, winning Gold again in 2011.
